Boone County, KY — November 5, 2025 — Boone County Commissioner Jesse Brewer formally announced today that he will seek re-election, highlighting a record of fiscal responsibility, smart infrastructure investment, and protecting the constitutional rights of Boone County residents.

Since taking office in 2019, Brewer has delivered on key priorities he committed to during his first campaign — most notably reducing the county property tax rate and returning money to taxpayers.

“When I ran for office, I promised to be a strong steward of taxpayer dollars, protect our values, and make Boone County an even better place to raise a family,” Brewer said. “And together, we have delivered.”

Key accomplishments during Brewer’s term include:

  • Lowered property tax rates by over 13% since 2021 — saving Boone County families millions of dollars.

  • Led a countywide broadband expansion reaching more than 40,000 households through a $43 million investment made in collaboration with Cincinnati Bell (AltaFiber).

  • Created the County Road Infrastructure Fund to accelerate road repairs and improvements with local matching dollars.

  • Passed the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Resolution, protecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding residents.

  • Continued community investment through the Jesse Brewer Foundation, providing thousands of dollars in scholarships and youth support.

Brewer emphasized that while much has been accomplished, key work remains.

“Boone County is growing rapidly. We must stay ahead of infrastructure needs and continue operating government transparently and responsibly,” Brewer said. “Families deserve infrastructure that works, a government they can trust, and a community that remains safe.”

If re-elected, Brewer said he will continue to:

  • Fight for Boone County’s infrastructure and road needs

  • Push for greater taxpayer transparency and accountability

  • Work to expand water infrastructure to underserved areas

  • Support law enforcement and first responders

  • Ensure that Boone County families remain the top priority

“I’m asking voters to send me back so we can continue the work we’ve started,” Brewer added. “I will always put Boone County families first.”

Brewer resides in Boone County with his family and remains active in numerous community and philanthropic efforts.
