BURLINGTON, Ky - Two years ago, the Boone County Fiscal Court prioritized high-speed internet access to all of its residents throughout the County, becoming the first in the United States to complete this project.
Today, it was announced through the Cares Act, Boone County will receive more than $800,000 to accomplish this project. Since Boone County has already finished this project, the Cares Act reimbursement dollars will be put towards other important Boone County infrastructure projects.
