Boone County Fiscal Court Reduces Real and Personal Property Taxes.

Burlington, Ky. - Boone County Fiscal Court announced a rate decrease in personal and real property taxes. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Boone County Fiscal Court has reduced the real property tax rate in Boone County.

"As a fiscal conservative, I'm thrilled that our County Government continues to operate efficiently and transparently. I'm proud to have voted with my fellow Boone County Commissioners to lower the property tax rates for another fiscal year." said Boone County Commissioner Jesse Brewer.

Reduced so much that we can't tell the difference. Pricing seniors out of their homes with the constant reassessments. I'm on a fixed income and having to allow $300 per month just for property tax......

This is not true! My property tax was increased! Are you saying all property tax was decreased or just a specific area of Boone Coumty?

Replying to

The rates have been decreased, the assessed value (which is put on by the Property Valuation Administration) may have increased thus increasing the amount you pay.

at fiscal court we set the rate, but a completely different office sets the valuation
