Northern Kentucky communities to decide on medical marijuana dispensaries on November ballot

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. — Come January, medical marijuana will officially be legal in Kentucky.

However, access to it is something that's still up in the air, depending on where you live.

"The counties and cities said, you have three options. You can vote to allow the zoning," said Jesse Brewer, a Boone County commissioner, "You can vote to not allow the zoning. You can vote to put a ballot referendum on and let them let your constituents decide if they want the zoning."
